About Us

The Traditional Ilmington Morris Men are based in the South Warwickshire village of Ilmington and dance the traditional dances which have evolved in the village over 300 years.

The side joined the Morris Ring in 2002; this is an association of Morris Mens’ Clubs which was formed in 1934.  We are also an associated club member of the EFDSS (English Folk Dance and Song Society).

We practice on Wednesday evenings in Ilmington Village Hall during the winter and dance around the local villages and towns on Wednesday evenings in the summer.  Occasionally we attend festivals and accept bookings.

Headquarters of the Ilmington side is The Red Lion Inn (Tel. 01608 682366), a Hook Norton Brewery owned house selling a variety of the breweries fine ales and marvellous food.  Cath and Percy provide a warm welcome to all.
